GSG-16 Muzzle Device Adapter (1/2″-28)

Finally, a way to thread a regular 1/2″-28 muzzle device onto your GSG-16! This adapter converts the female flash hider thread on your short-barreled GSG-16’s charging tube to a 1/2″-28 thread on the barrel. It is not a tri-lug adapter (even though it looks like it) and is only meant for 1/2″-28 muzzle devices. This adapter fits the OEM GSG-16 charging tube as well as my MP5 style charging tubes; it only works on the short-barreled GSG-16 (the one that ships with a flash hider, not the one with the long  faux suppressor).

Because of the way that GSG put the thread on the plastic tube rather than the barrel the adapter needs to be manually centered using set screws, so I only recommend using this adapter with devices that have ample clearance (such as flash hiders, fake cans, or muzzle brakes meant for larger calibers). Please use caution when tightening the set screws to ensure that the adapter is properly centered before installing a muzzle device.
